I’ve learned the hard way that “I’ll check it later” usually means “I’ll find out when it’s too late.” Now I just make it part of my routine — coffee, charts, quick scan of OctaFX news. Most of it is standard stuff, but occasionally there’s an update that actually affects spreads, instruments, or trading hours. I’d rather spend two minutes reading than sit there wondering why something changed mid-session.
