todays guest is identical to how we started in 2007 with our first benchmark series, then came the eighties, and finally came chunked printable comments. you have to understand that our earlier benchmarks were not, and still are not meant to be perfect. we're simply trying to give you a way of looking at your cpu, motherboard, memory, chipset, and graphics card. we're simply looking for the best combination of things and the fastest combination of things. thus, bigbigbigbigbig is our name; and our aim is to give you a benchmark that lets you compare cpus, motherboards, memory, and graphics cards on a level playing field. today we're continuing to review how fast a cpu is.

after years of working tirelessly, we've finally completed our chunked printable comments benchmark p5pe-vm series! this series is the culmination of our years of work. the first series was just our desktop tests with a few games and applications. then we created the p5pe-pro series which was centered around cpus. now we're back with something that is really big.

in the p5pe-pro series, we focused on individual parts of an overclocked system. in the chunked printable comments series, we take a different approach. what we're doing here is we're testing a system as a whole. so before you start overclocking, we recommend you read our overclocking guide.
